ROM - to determine whether a 512K Mac has the new 128K ROMs - choose About The Finder from the Apple menu.  (Finder version 5.1 or later.)  Memory size will be displayed in the lower-left corner.  If the memory size is followed by a period, the 512K Mac has the 128K ROM.  If there is no period, it has the 64K ROMs.
